Macmillan Coffee Funday (29/08/23)

Would be a wonderful day we had back in the summer for our third annual charity event! It was the biggest and busiest yet!

It was so lovely seeing lots of similar faces from over the years.

We raised over £1,500 on the day.

“My children have always shown an interest in hosting charity events from a young age (Tallulah’s first ever was a Peppa pig coffee morning and sponsored walk when she was 5years old) I always do my best to support their ideas and make it happen for them and our local community.

Early this year they saw a TV advert of a Macmillan Coffee morning and ask if they can do one but with a bouncy castle and games! And that’s what we have managed to make happen and hopefully it is a successful for the girls after all there hard work in collecting donations and on the day.

I love organising their creative and fun ideas into our charity events, bringing our local community together to so beautiful to watch and seeing every generation enjoying their self. We couldn’t of done this event this year without all the support from local businesses and sponsors – such as Webb’s Masonry hiring and paying for a bouncy castle and inflatable obstacle course aswell as Westmatic sponsoring our event with a coffee machine.

And of course all the local bakers who is donating cakes and bakes for us to sell along side a hot drink.”
